Brittany Jean

Brittany Jean is a singer/songwriter in the Pacific Northwest. Her sound is a unique blend of Country, Folk, and Americana. Overall, Brittany is a storyteller, and she typically performs a mix of 50% Cover Songs (including songs by Gordon Lightfoot, Emmylou Harris, Judy Collins, Randy Travis, Collin Raye, John Denver...) and 50% Originals.

With two albums recorded and released in Nashville, TN, Brittany has been performing across the country this year (along with making trips to Nashville to finish recording her third album ("Wander With Me")--which will be released January 2018).

“Brittany Jean made her Methow Valley debut, captivating the audience with only her acoustic guitar and sensitive vocals as she performed what has become an anthem of the Carlton Complex Fire.” -Methow Valley News

“Brittany Jean... has a voice that is frequently likened to country megastar Alison Krauss.” -Omak Chronicle

“Brittany Jean’s vocals combined with Nashville’s finest studio musicians makes for an enchanting and delightful listen, and as the song “Turn Right” proclaims, “We should do it all again...” The audience will hit repeat over and over again.” -Stormcave

Brittany Jean
lives in Brewster, WA.  In 2013, she released her first album entitled "Whispered Stories" (recorded at Hilltop Recording Studios in Nashville, TN).  Her second album entitled "Leavin' Home" (also recorded at Hilltop) was released on March 11, 2016.

  • "Leavin' Home" includes her song "Wildfire" which was written in response to Brittany's first-hand experience during the Carlton Complex Wildfires of 2014 (the largest wildfires in Washington State history).  This song was a centerpiece for the fundraising effort of the Carlton Complex Longterm Recovery Group, whose purpose is to rebuild the 300+ homes that were lost in that fire.
  • Brittany Jean's song "Adventure" was nominated for the Independent Music Awards in the category for Bluegrass Song of the Year in 2016

Brittany Jean performed in Preliminary Rounds and then in the Final Round of The Bates Ford Talent Showcase in Lebanon, Tennessee (20 miles east of Nashville).  She performed with the House Band for the Grand Ole Opry on "live" radio--broadcast internationally on WSM 650 in Nashville (“The Most Famed Country Music Station in the World”).

Brittany was chosen to perform in the Gulf Coast Songwriter Shootout in Orange Beach, Alabama on October 10, 2016 (which included 50 singer/songwriters from across the country), and Brittany was chosen by her "peers" to return on October 24, 2016 to perform in the Finals.

Brittany returned to Nashville in October 2016 to begin work on her third album (which is scheduled for release in December 2017) and to perform “live” at The Commodore for an evening of Nashville Rounds.

Brittany recently completed a solo 4-Concert Tour in Leavenworth, Chelan, Twisp, and Winthrop in November and December 2016 to help raise funds for the continuing Wildfire Recovery Effort on behalf of the Carlton and Okanogan Complex Recovery Group.

Brittany Jean's music is always family friendly!
