A couple months ago, my dad was asking me about song ideas. So, rambling, I told him what I was working on at the moment, what I wanted to write next, and even the small glimmerings of stories I wanted to tell at some point. One of those glimmerings I shared with him was about the very first Christmas, wondering what the day might have been like. Was it just another day? Or was there something mysterious and unexplainable? Was there no difference whatsoever? Or were people a little warmer and a little kinder to each other, without any "reason" to be?

Was there something different…?

Well, the next morning, my dad gave me the first draft of Christmas Wonder.

We then worked on it and wrote the rest of it together.

Because I’m excited and because I can’t wait until next year (when I’m hoping to release the entire album) to share some of this with you, my first Christmas song will be released on December 4th!

On Halloween I had the opportunity to sing in a beautiful theater for wonderfully kind people in Sandpoint, Idaho. Despite taking a wrong turn somewhere and somehow locking myself out of the theater at the end of the show (yep, I did that)... I loved performing at the Panida. It was great to sing for people again--I've missed you all, and I'm so thankful anyone was brave enough to come to the show in the first place, what with the weirdness of the world.

I do not know when my next show will be, and that makes me even more thankful to have had this one!

October 31 Concert

Well... I don't know about you, but... I am so ready for a concert!

I'll be at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint, ID on October 31 at 7:00 PM!

It'll be so great to get back to Sandpoint! I've missed it! And maybe... just maybe I'll see friends from Bonners Ferry there, too...? Oh, I hope so! I'd love to see you!!
